Global Wind Service (GWS) has recently provided an experienced team of 18 O&M specialists and 5 sets of professional tools to perform service work across 11 wind farms in Romania covering a total number of 300 GE turbines.
“O&M is a key competence for GWS and we are happy to extend our track record with the annual maintenance, anchor bolts tightening and transformer cleaning across the range of GE wind farms: Cogealac and Fantanele, Baleni, Silistea and others,” said Chief Commercial Officer Michael Høj Olsen.
These wind farms are located in the Dobrogea region of south-east Romania, close to where GWS has a business unit. A highly skilled team of local technicians and logistics staff will take on the task. The project will be executed in a timely and cost efficient manner under the management of Dragos Popescu.
The project is due to finish end of Q3/beginning of Q4 2016.
