We are extremely proud to announce that Global Wind Service (GWS) has obtained the highest membership possible with LEEA (The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association), the full membership. The process to become full member lasted around 6 months where GWS has continuously taken different measures and steps towards fulfilling the requirements for full membership.

Iain Webster, Inspection Technical Manager, Global Wind Service, United Kingdom

“I am so very proud of our team working with this. They have done a tremendous job and it is quite the achievement to gain the full membership in only 6 months. It is an important achievement for us, as it is vital for us to secure the best training and support for our employees, so our teams are always prepared in the best possible way” said Michael Høj Olsen, CEO of Global Wind Service.

Being a full member of LEEA gives access to the best possible training and support. Along with this, full members gain access to the LEEA technical library which is an extensive collection of essential documents and resources relating to all aspects of the safety, design, manufacture, testing, examination, servicing, certification, and supply of lifting equipment. Additionally, LEEA keeps all full members completely updated on any legislative changes and provides the latest technical, legal and safety advice.

With this GWS will always be up to date and prepared in the best possible way for our statutory inspection works. Having the full LEEA membership is a quality stamp that shows the company’s commitment to stay in the forefront when it comes to new knowledge, training and much more.
