Global Wind Service (GWS) recently relocated to new office facilities within Istanbul and has established a second office in Izmir.
“Istanbul has historically been a bridge between Europe and the Middle East,” says Hakan Caglayan, Area Manager for GWS’s Turkish operations. “And our Istanbul office will act in the same way, bridging the gap between the European wind market and that of the Middle East.”
An approach which, among others, has resulted in GWS installing the very first wind turbine in Saudi Arabia earlier this year.
In order to keep pace with the development GWS also opened a second office in Turkey in the Izmir region last summer. It serves as a project and operations base with a warehouse, whereas the Istanbul office houses the commercial, finance, HR, IT and legal departments.
