YOU'RE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU FIT THE BELOW PROFILE:

A GWO (Global Wind Organisation) Basic Technical Training Instructor needs a diverse set of skills and competencies to effectively train individuals in the wind industry.

Here are some key skills and competencies:

  • Practical Technical Knowledge and Expertise on wind turbine systems, including mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components, used during turbine maintenance and repair;
  • Teaching and Communication Skills useful in explaining complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner, and fluent English;
  • Safety Awareness of procedures and emergency response protocols, and ability to share a safety-first mindset with delegates;
  • Assessment Skills needed to evaluate delegate’s performance through practical exercises and written tests, providing constructive feedback to help delegates improve their skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills - patience and empathy to support diverse learning styles and paces;

A GWO Basic Technical Training Instructor should combine these skills to ensure that delegates are well-prepared to safely and effectively work in the wind industry.
