Operations Director- USA

Position Summary:

◆ Oversee daily business activities

◆ Define and implement operational policies

◆ Lead the Operations team including project managers and field management


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

◆ Develop and execute growth directives

◆ Partners with legal team for contract interpretations and negotiations, including understanding commercial conditions and consequences

◆ Partners with sales team for goal and strategy alignment

◆ Contributes to the internal structure and sales process to ensure customer-focus and a proactive sales effort and approach

◆ Partners with HR to establish overall strategy including recruitment, policies and training

◆ Partner with internal leadership to ensure company-wide operational compliance

◆ Ensures internal coordination, handover, and partnership Sales from project negotiation through project conclusion

◆ Understand and monitor company’s revenue margins

◆ Oversee budget reviews to maximize profit

◆ Evaluate overall business performance by analyzing data and metrics

◆ Ensure company policies are being followed in office and in the field

◆ Monitor employee production and satisfaction

◆ Develops effective means of communication with associates at all levels across the business to build a relationship of trust and respect

◆ Special projects, as assigned.

◆ Flexibility to travel up to 50%

◆ Flexibility to work overtime hours on weekly basis

◆ All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

◆ Pre-employment background check and drug test

◆ Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar degree is highly preferred

◆ At least ten years of experience in wind or construction

◆ At least five years of direct people management experience

◆ Results focus to set goals, deliver results consistently, take action to achieve targets, and overcome obstacles

◆ Knowledge of operations management to understand how this integrates into overall business and financial planning

◆ Proven ability to initiate, develop and grow superior and sustainable vendor and customer relationships, plus the ability to collaborate with and influence others

◆ Must have the ability to establish credibility and trust in relationships with customers, team members and clients

◆ Strong PC skills, with proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel & Project

◆ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external personnel.

◆ Detail oriented, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

◆ Strong organizational skills and research skills.

◆ Able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment and display a sense of urgency.

◆ Strong customer service skills.

◆ Function with little supervision. Be an effective team player.

◆ High energy, self-motivated, service-oriented and ethical with a high degree of integrity


Working Conditions and Environment

◆ Must be able to work independently.

◆ Must be able to move around the office up to 20% of the time to make copies, fax, file, etc.

◆ This position operates computers and other office productivity machines (e.g., fax machine, copier, printer, etc.) on a regular basis. This position must be able to inspect and

observe information on a computer screen at least 80% of the time.

◆ This position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

◆ This position requires constant communication and exchange of information with the Company’s employees, clients, vendors and/or contractors.

◆ Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

◆ Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
