Position Summary:
- ◆ Manage execution of GWS US projects
- ◆ Assist with contract negotiations
- ◆ Maintain project data in Saviom and MS Project
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Forecasts project scope, costs and scheduling
- Leads the project team, including GWS managers, technicians, vendors and subcontractors to have a “safety first” project culture
- Fosters productive relationships with clients and customers
- Efficiently and effectively manages projects as per contract and in compliance with local legislation and customer requirements
- Conducts pre-start site inspection and manages site-specific agreements (e.g. vendors and subcontractors)
- Provides guidance for planning and resource allocation (equipment and manpower)
- Prepares, coordinates and maintains project documentation in accordance with GWS practices and standards
- Makes regular visits to project site and provides leadership and guidance
- Monitors project performance, provides weekly updates to customers and makes adjustments as needed to maintain schedule and budget
- Manages budgets to control costs and provide guidance on budget variances
- Reviews and approves invoices for assigned projects
- Ensures accurate and timely reporting of time & attendance records for compensation payable to employees, including union and prevailing wage requirements
- Ensures corporate policies are properly administered and new policies are adequately documented and communicated across the Company.
- Partners with various internal departments including accounting, operations, legal, and hr
- Develops effective means of communication with associates at all levels across the business to build a relationship of trust and respect
- Special projects, as assigned.
- Flexibility to travel up to 50%
- Flexibility to work overtime hours on weekly basis
