As a Quality Manager at Global Wind Service, you will lead the team of quality professionals on the projects and ensure continues improvement within the quality area. It include the responsibility for the compliance of ISO 9001. You will report to our HSEQ Director, who is based at company headquarters in Denmark. You should expect travels on a regular basis (probably between 20-40 days per year).
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely with our international offices to drive continues improvement and promote quality awareness at all levels. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with leadership competencies and the ability to lead and inspire a team and a passion for the wind industry.
Job description:
- Leading a team of quality professionals assigned to the projects (QA's) and drive a culture of quality within the organisation.
- Conduct monthly QA meetings and align with Divisional directors on Quality expectations.
- Ensure compliance with the ISO 9001 standard.
- Drive improvements for quality within Global Wind Service company.
- Follow up on IMS updates and support the organisation with questions.
- Support in regard to internal Quality audits and external customer and/or supplier audits
- Ensure document and record control for WI.
- Quality Assurance planning. Ensure FMEA for installation is created for new platforms.
- Quality Control. Review and coordinator quality control activities, including inspection, testing and measurement of products and processes to identify defects, deviations or non-conformities.
- Support with Quality target setting for the company and for each division.
- Training and development. Provide training and guidance for employees on quality standards, procedures and practises.
- Data Analysis and reporting. Analysing quality data, including metrics, trends and customer feedback to identify areas of improvement and develop reports for management review.
