ABOUT THE JOB

We are expanding our team with a Resource Manager to be based in one of our offices in Poland (Szczecin or Koszalin). You will be responsible for all aspects of line management for Wind Turbine Blade Technicians employed by GWS especially allocating them on various projects all around the world.

We are looking for a candidate that is self-motivating, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure, with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to line-manage individuals ideally with experience within the wind or oil/gas industry.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Line management of Technicians – maintaining regular contact with Technicians, including performance management, feedback, pay reviews and annual dialogues regarding development
  • Communicating assignment and project information to Technicians
  • Approving of working hours and expenses for Technicians (reconciliation of expenses like i. e. travel costs)
  • Lead and ensure project manning process, optimize of resource allocation and monitor Technicians’ availability
  • Developing the safety culture within GWS, monitor technicians PPE
  • Compliance with client contracts and obligations
  • Maintain project related documentation and work approvals in countries of operation
  • Monthly reporting on KPI’s
  • Participate in the recruitment of new Technicians
  • Conduct site visits

Requirements

  • Desirable Wind Industry background
  • Previous line management experience ideally within the wind or oil/gas industry
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels within the business
  • Man-planning skills and experience
  • Good English skills (written and spoken)
  • Very good understanding of IT systems, including Excel
  • Flexible and able to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to self-motivate and manage own workload
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Highly motivated, driven to deliver highest standard of service
  • Team player
  • Drivers license
