We are expanding our team with a professional and experienced Sales Manager for our Onshore Division, that can be based from our Dutch office in Duiven.

Global Wind Service was established in Denmark in 2008 and has grown into being a preferred project partner for wind turbine installation and service projects worldwide.

You will be a key player in achieving the growth strategy of the organization. The customers are primarily located in Europe, and your external stakeholders range from project managers to purchasing departments of OEMs. You will be working on close collaboration with the project department to which a thorough and comprehensive handover takes place from sales to delivery. You are to assume co-responsibility for the delivery of the solutions sold, including financial aspects, and follow up on whether we deliver successfully. To put it simply your objective is to sell and create results together with the team. Your tool is genuine solution-oriented sales, where you will focus on creating value for the customer. The accomplished internal sales team will provide technical support regarding submission of tenders, following up on orders and service, but you will be leading the way. Thus, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Managing and developing your own customer portfolio and securing strong relations and long-term partnerships
  • Driving large tender processes
  • Contributing with structure and diligence to ensure customer focus and a proactive sales effort and approach
  • Negotiation of contracts, including the understanding of commercial conditions and consequences
  • Ensuring internal coordination, handover, and involvement towards Operations

You will have a very independent and challenging job in a highly international environment and industry – an industry that is constantly growing. Furthermore, you should expect approx. 30 to 40 travel days per year.


You will possess a strong drive and strong analytical skills. You may have a commercial education combined with experience in technical sales or vice versa, and you may have worked within the industry or in a job related to the industry, e.g. as a supplier or customer. Your negotiation skills are second to none, and you conclude meetings confident that you have covered all possible aspects of needs and sales opportunities. Moreover, you have experience with large tender processes and are able to acquaint yourself with contractual conditions and translate them into risk management and calculations. You are able to sell based on references translated into solutions, and to a wide extent your success will depend on you being trustworthy in your sales approach. On a more personal note, you must be a strong team player who understands the importance of good relations. You should be hands-on and outgoing, and work proactively, persistently and in a structured way. Finally, you will have excellent communication skills and master English at negotiation level.
