Global Wind Service awarded pre-assembly support services for Seagreen offshore wind farm
Following another successful collaboration with Vestas Offshore Wind on the Triton Knoll Pre-assembly project, we are delighted to announce the contractual award of the pre-assembly support services for Seagreen offshore wind farm in Scotland.
This continuation of the strong relationship means that Global Wind Service (GWS)will maintain a significant presence on Vestas Offshore’s large projects in the UK. Technicians will be based at the Able Seaton Port in the UK and GWS will support across all key pre-assembly activities which include Tower & Nacelle works, Rope Access Painting, Warehouse Operation, and Supervision.
Located 27km off the coast of Angus in Scotland, Seagreen offshore wind farm, will become the largest offshore wind farm in Scotland. Vestas will supply 114 of their flagship V164 wind turbines which will supply approx. 1075MW of green power annually.
